The North East is in CAT Mode

Rain on the roof

What is CAT mode? Simply put, CAT mode is instated during times of heavy weather. In this case, we have had snow that has melted into the ground and is now followed by a heavy storm front that is rolling through. In the case of today’s storm we are seeing downed trees, water backing up into homes and businesses and other damage.

How do you protect yourself?

  • Make sure downspouts are clear and pointed away from your home.
  • Make sure that your sump pump is operable and the spout is pointed away from the home.
  • Keep an eye on trees and call someone to remove any that are not healthy to ensure it does not fall on your home or office.
  • Use walk off matts in commercial structures to protect floors.

Those are just some tips, but if you are really experiencing a water damage then make sure you contact us immediately.  We are on the approved list with most major insurance carriers and can help you not only get dried out and restored but we can also restore your peace of mind.
